Dina Garcia currently serves as Spanish Speaking Certification Analyst for the Business Enterprise Program, working with minority, women, veteran and persons with disabilities business owners, fostering an inclusive and equitable environment that supports underrepresented businesses increase their capacity, grow and enhance credentials. Primary function is auditing and analyzing applications from vendors seeking minority certification to do business with the State of Illinois. Previously Dina worked at the Office of Early Childhood and DHS and has been a State of Illinois employee for 10 years.

 

Dina has more than 25 years of experience and has certifications as an ESL instructor and is a trained medical interpreter in wellness/health, and cultural competency.
